Estas foram as informações reveladas no leak:

Bucharest, Romania – December 8, 2025 – PGL is pleased to announce the PGL Singapore Major 2026, the second Counter-Strike 2 Major of the year. The event will take place between November 25 and December 13, 2026, bringing together 32 of the world’s best teams for the biggest tournament in the CS2 calendar.

With a $1,250,000 prize pool on the line, the Singapore Major will be a celebration of the global Counter-Strike community.

Three Stages, One Champion

The tournament will unfold across three competitive stages. The final four days will take place in the Singapore Indoor Stadium, one of Asia’s most recognized venues for live entertainment and sports. Known for its modern design, great visibility from every seat, and strong fan atmosphere, the arena will host thousands of Counter-Strike fans eager to witness one of the greatest shows in the Counter-Strike universe.

The Road to the Grand Final

Throughout the event, 32 teams from all regions will battle for a spot in the Best-of-5 Grand Final, which will decide who lifts the Major trophy in Singapore.
PGL will continue its focus on fair play, high-quality broadcast production, and an authentic viewing experience that puts players and fans at the core of the action.

A New Region, A New Stage, A New Major

The PGL Singapore Major 2026 marks a historic milestone: the first Counter-Strike 2 Major ever held in Southeast Asia. This event represents more than just a new location; it’s a step toward expanding the competitive landscape of Counter-Strike beyond its traditional European and North American strongholds.

Through events like this, PGL continues to bridge regions and communities, helping bring large-scale Counter-Strike competition to new audiences and territories. From the memorable PGL Major Krakow and PGL Major Stockholm to more recent ventures in Kazakhstan and now Singapore, PGL has consistently worked to make the global stage of CS more inclusive and diverse.

The Singapore Major stands as a testament to that mission, a new chapter for Counter-Strike in Southeast Asia, and an opportunity for fans in the region to experience the magic of a Major up close.

Continuing PGL’s Esports Legacy

The second Counter-Strike 2 Major of 2026 heads to Singapore, featuring 32 teams, a $1.25 million prize pool, and marking PGL’s fifth Major overall — and the fourth in the past five years — following Krakow, Stockholm, Antwerp, and Copenhagen.

The top three most-watched Counter-Strike events of all time — PGL Major Stockholm 2021, PGL Major Antwerp 2022, and PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 — were all organized by PGL.

This will also mark PGL’s fifth esports event held in Singapore, following the FUT Champions Cup March Singapore, the Singapore DOTA 2 Invitational, the DOTA 2 Singapore Major, and The International 2022.

Shared Enthusiasm for the Major

“Bringing the first Counter-Strike Major to Singapore is a moment that truly inspires us,” said Silviu Stroie, CEO of PGL.

“This city has been home to some of our most memorable esports events, and we’ve always felt the energy and passion of the fans here. Returning now with a Counter-Strike Major feels like the natural next step. Our goal is to honor the legacy of Counter-Strike by delivering an event worthy of the community’s dedication and love for the game.”

“Singapore has been host to exciting esports events such as The International, the largest DOTA 2 esports event in the world, and we look forward with much anticipation to hosting our first Counter Strike Major in 2026, which will reinforce Singapore as a world-class events destination. As one of the most prestigious tournaments in the Counter Strike scene, the event promises to attract fans from around the region, and we invite them to also enjoy Singapore’s lifestyle experiences and vibrant energy\”, said Ms Jean Ng, Assistant Chief Executive (Experience Development Group), from the Singapore Tourism Board.
