Nothing mattered more than this. I’m crushed trying to find any words to put on what happened.
The biggest sorry to our fans & the organization who believed in us.
It’s an impossible pill to swallow not being a part of the celebration of Counter Strike in Copenhagen…..💔— Nicolai Reedtz (@dev1ce) February 23, 2024
Heartbreaking.
We’re not going to the Copenhagen Major. Sorry to all of our fans. pic.twitter.com/uuyB0OVR6W

Astralis has been ELIMNATED from the PGL 2024 Copenhagen Major RMR Last chance qualifier ❌
Failing to qualify for the first ever major on danish soil, will go down in history as one of the biggest fuck-ups of Astralis long and rich history.
The context is staggering, they…

staehr doing the exit interview is bullshit
he was the only one who played better than expectation in the server now he had to do the pr too. astralis always find a way to lose fans.

This astralis game was painful to watch.
They desperately need an IGL who is willing to take space and sacrifice himself for his team mates. A player who doesnt care about having + in KD.#PGLRMR— Faruk Pita (@pitaCSGO) February 23, 2024
Astralis missing on the first Major in Denmark is crazy.
Even more when you see that they lost to Heroic (the irony), gla1ve with ENCE (the irony) and 9Pandas.
And all that with stavn & jabbi underperforming a lot and device being average. Unbelievable failure.

The fact that Astralis send Staehr to the losing interview shows such a lack of willingness to take responsibility for the loss. It’s not him who should do that.
— Milan Švejda (@StrikerHLTVorg) February 23, 2024
Massive respect to Staehr, not only being the only player stepping up on the server during a difficult period.
Why is Staehr the one doing the losers interview? The amount of responsibility you put on the player that’s the least profiled within your team is ridiculous.
